“The Sacred” is a collaboration between icon painter Joyce Vidal and artist Heather Smith-Gearns. The work of each invites meditation and contemplation, as does the work of supporting artists Andrea Rogers, Jacob Bush and Sharon Ose.

The Sacred: Icon Exhibit/Joyce Vidal-Thornburg

Joyce is exhibiting a series of 24 completed icons for the first time, each painted in an intricate process of layered prayer.

Heather’s abstract paintings fit easily into the practice of Visio Divina, and are the perfect complement to Joyce’s icons.

Joyce’s works are not for sale, but Heather’s works are available to purchase. They range in size/price from gift cards suitable for framing to “Eternal Bloom”, 40″x60″ in size.
