What’s Happening at The Millet House: October 2023

The Millet House is Changing Lives! Come see what we are up to!

10/14   Salon, 1pm – 4 pm: free community building event! This is a time to share what you’ve created – poetry, artwork – and a time to paint, write, play music, etc .

10/21-10/22   Mesa Arts Center’s Day of the Dead- Dias de los Muertos celebration. We have an info table and will have a children’s craft project.

10/28    Workshop at The Millet House, 1pm – 4 pm: “How to be an artist” with Andrea Rogers and Sharon Ose. Sharon and Andrea will collaborate  and create a fun and informative  event for people to learn,and connect with their inner artist. Part 1 of a series; $15.00 suggested donation

10/29    Fry Bread at the St Barnabas Missions Festival, open to all, courtesy of the Jackson sisters, who use their grandmother’s recipe and make the best fry bread anywhere.  We will also offer a collaborative art project, inspired by the work of Romare Bearden, to be led by artist Marva Harris.
